Capri Ebony - Blue - Linen fabric

The inspiration for this print design comes from the graphic stonework for tile floors of villas around the Italian coasts, and the spirit of Swedish Axel Munthe Villa San Michele built in 1895. Both have a resemblance to the rich graphics of Swedish folks costumes and all all this have inspired Camilla´s print Capri.

Capri is drawn by hand and is printed by our Master printers on our beautiful and sustainable high quality linen weave, which is lively and make our patterns age with grace.

MAIN USE

This weave is suitable for domestic use, for example when making curtains, blinds, cushion covers and other home accessories. It can be used for light upholstery like head boards or loose covers, but the weave is not suitable for objects that are used every day with heavy repeated friction.


CARE

Our general advice is that our Linens are dry clean only.

If desired for use as washable drapery or removable covers, then our Linens must be pre washed prior to cutting for application as linen may shrink 3-6%. It can be wash by hand 30° C, leave to drip dry naturally. 

Do not spot clean.


GENERAL

• Our Linens are made of 100% natural linen fibres. Colur may vary due to the natural character of the linen fiber and natural variations or ‘slubs’ can be visible in the weave, giving our fabrics their uniqueness. 

• Screen colours, printer colours and fabric dye batches may all vary slightly, as are mixed by hand by our Colour Masters.

• Creases can occur from time to time in transit. These can be steamed out with ease prior to use.

• Fabrics are cut to your ordered length and are therefore a bespoke and non-returnable item. Our fabrics are priced per linear metre (1=1m) and we only cut whole increments.
